British luxury yacht builder Sunseeker Yachts was founded by brothers Robert and John Braithwaite under Poole Power Boats in Poole, the UK, in 1969. The yard established a name for itself by building small pleasure boats during the 1970s. Later on, the brothers teamed up with racing yacht designer Don Shead, who developed their signature performance hull and rebranded to Sunseeker Yachts in 1985. Entering the superyacht market with the launch of its Sunseeker Predator 80 model in the mid-1990s, Sunseeker today is known for building luxury composite semi-custom superyachts up to 48 metres in length. Notable models include the Superhawk 34 and Predator 108, as seen in the 007 film franchise. Launching five new models simultaneously in 2021, the largest launch in the brand’s history, this included the Predator 55 EVO™, the 88 Yacht and 90 Ocean.
