Over the years, Italian yacht builder Arcadia Yachts has shown its ongoing dedication to environmentalism, innovation and design by offering semi-custom luxury composite yachts. Founded in 2008 by a group of yachting industry executives, the shipyard builds semi-custom yachts in GRP, focusing on minimising each yacht’s overall footprint. Arcadia Yachts launched its first yacht in 2010, the 25.9 metre Arcadia 85 Solar, to great success. Created around the idea of living in harmony with nature, she features an exterior design by Francesco Guida that incorporates numerous solar panels to help recharge the yacht’s house batteries. She also features hybrid diesel/electric power and is capable of running on electric propulsion alone in complete silence at up to 8 knots.
